Ingredients base (all bars): Water, olive oil, coconut oil, responsibly sourced palm oil (RSPO certified), sodium hydroxide (none remains after saponifying oils), shea butter, castor oil, kaolin clay, sodium lactate, sodium gluconate, sugar.

What's wrong with my current body wash?
Turn the bottle around. Read the ingredients. Here is what you are actually looking at.
It starts with what makes the foam
That lather comes from sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) or sodium laureth sulphate (SLES). It feels like it’s working. It is, just not in your favour. SLS strips the lipid barrier your skin relies on to stay moisturised and healthy. Every wash. It cannot tell the difference between surface dirt and your skin’s own protection.
- Linked to barrier damage and increased skin water loss
- Amplifies reactions in people with eczema or sensitive skin
- SLES goes through a process that creates 1,4-dioxane as a byproduct, classified by the US EPA as “likely to be carcinogenic to humans.” It does not appear on the label because it is a contaminant, not an ingredient.
The preservatives are worse
Body wash is mostly water. Water breeds bacteria. So it needs heavy preservatives to stay shelf-stable for two years in a warm bathroom.
- Parabens (methylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben) mimic oestrogen in the body. The Endocrine Society classifies them as endocrine-disrupting chemicals. Intact parabens have been found in human tissue samples.
- DMDM hydantoin is used as a paraben alternative. It slowly releases formaldehyde as it breaks down. Formaldehyde is an IARC Group 1 carcinogen. It will not say “formaldehyde” on the label.
“Fragrance” means nothing and everything
“Fragrance” or “parfum” is a legally protected trade secret. One line on the ingredients list. Behind it: anywhere from 10 to 200 individual synthetic compounds, with zero obligation to disclose any of them.
- Phthalates are routinely used as fragrance fixatives. They are linked to hormonal disruption and altered androgen production in human studies.
- You have no way of knowing they are in your product. That is by design.

How do I remove the mount from the wall?
Fair warning: we use a high-strength adhesive because we want this thing to stay put for years, not fall off after a few weeks. So removal takes a bit of effort, but the steps below will get it done without damaging your wall.
- Warm the adhesive with a hair dryer for 30 to 60 seconds. Heat softens the bond and makes removal much easier.
- Slide a piece of dental floss or fishing line behind the mount and saw gently back and forth. The heat-softened adhesive will release.
- Clean up any residue with an adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol. Test it on a hidden spot first to make sure it will not damage your wall or paint.

Natural bar soap has a reputation of leaving a bit of residue in hard water areas because real soap reacts with the minerals in your water (worse if you have hard water).
Most natural soap makers don't consider cleaning or the hardness of your water when they're formulating.

The mount is solid and the soap is lovely. Make sure you let the adhesive set for a full 24hrs before putting the soap on because i didnt read that part properly and it fell off the first time lol. Once its bonded though its completley fine, been up for weeks now no issues. Lavender scent is beautful. Only reason for 4 stars is the instructions could be clearer about the wait time but otherwise no complaints at all. Also the box was a bit dented when it arrived but everything inside was fine.
